Pictoright
Tens of thousands of Dutch and foreign visual creators, or their heirs, are affiliated to Pictoright for the exploitation and protection of their individual copyrights. This mostly concerns sculptors and architects. Pictoright grants licenses at the request of parties, such as publishers, museums, broadcasting companies and producers, who want to use the work of these makers. Also collective agreements are made, for example, in the realm of digitization projects, clippings services and portfolios with magazines. Every visual creator can claim the fees via Pictoright.
Pictoright is a non-profit-making foundation and is supervised by the authorities (College van Toezicht Auteursrechten, CvTA).
